goodonya gsmaree, you are learning quickly. To shortsell any stock, what they do is borrow that stock, say from a broker etc, then they can sell same at that price wanted and hopefully buy back quickly at a lower price, hence the profit.

Not everybody in a position to shortsell. But there are other ways to do just as well on the ASX. Watch the happenings as much as possible, anybody can learn, sure you can get burnt, BUT in time you can make big bucks.
