Tax deduction selling has already impacted the SP quite a bit IMO. With another week of trading to go, I think we'll see it drop below 5 cents.
As for coal prices improving, I really can't see that happening any time soon. The likes of Peabody and other major producers will be the first to benefit anyway. RES are at the bottom end of the food chain unfortunately.
I wish RES would be more realistic about their chances of securing bank finance. Lets face it, if it was going to happen, it would have already! Conditions certainly haven't improved over the last 3 years so if terms were unfavourable then, I can only speculate about how unfavourable they would be now?
Anyway, I'm out so my opinion probably doesn't help the long termers trying to stay positive ... sorry guys!!!
