It is warranted, have a read of the Chanticleer column in the AFR, it has everything except they don’t mention the tripling of the FUM outflow.
A lot of institutional analysts will have calculated the numbers already and started dumping before the numbers are released in Magellan’s December FUM release. Poor uninformed retail investors are left holding the empty can, it upsets me greatly.
The outflow is $1.5B in FUM for the month which is a tripling of what was announced in the September quarter. This is now on par with Platinum’s monthly outflow numbers in percentage terms.
