There is no doubt the resource is excellent, and I have said that numerous times. Just reading the first page you can see the results continue to be outstanding. But this needs to get to mining - delays equals issues. Regardless of what one thinks about the legality or otherwise of what has been occurring in the DRC, AVZ need to cut a deal and get this thing over the line and towards production - clearly Felix is not walking the walk IMO and it is obvious too me given how blindsighted AVZ were with the previous Ann.
Too me this is no longer getting to mining this side of 2025 and that is my biggest concern now. Hope I am wrong, but the longer this fiasco drags out the irony is AVZ's place in the development queue will be taken by someone else. The benefits of getting to mining and getting those high prices before they settle, albeit will settle still above most DFS prices companies previously used, is the real benefit of getting to production in the next few years on a NPV and EPS basis.
To preserve cash, I also suggest that drilling stops now as we certainly have enough resource and the money be set aside for legal, if NF wants to continue the fight, which I just hope common sense ultimately prevails and just move on - 60% ownership is still good. Or just come to an agreement and move on. Yes I don't agree with what Ziljin has done, but this is dragging on way to long and 1 year in suspension is enough. If the DRC government was truly willing to stamp out corruption this would have been sorted out long long long ago - remember Felix can issue the mining lease himself if he wanted to. The fact he hasn't says enough and yes one can yabber let the courts decide, but if this is clearly a case of corrruption people understand and it would show teh DRC was serious about dealing with it.
All IMO
My view continues to remains as per a previous post here -
