Crikey. Just saw this in an old ticker list .... I was always of the opinion the divvy was holding this up and that's turned out to be true.
If they can't get Toliara up then it's not looking good and TBH I don't think China is going to allow any new non-Chinese mining in Africa, they've got the Africans all bribed up hard. The only saving grace is that any Chinese ores ain't gonna make it across the sea without a fight as the USA is drumming up conflict in the middle east now to encourage selective piracy. China can't control the seas ... yet.
I reckon we are fast approaching a stalemate in Africa. China will continue to promise riches but within the next decade I suspect the USA will prevent China from ever delivering.
BSE is wrapped up in this geo-political battle as collateral damage.
