I think this has to do with macro economic environment rather than fyi thar has strong fundemental. Alcoa recognised that it can get a better deal as funding becomes a geniune issue for the likes of FYI.
Whether you like it or not, cash is the best for new.
Probably, Alco can acquire FYI for no more than 10 or 15 millons dollars.
