I’ve asked both ASIC and ASX compliance to review whether the Ghana announcements were accurate or detailed enough to allow the market to determine the merits going forward. To me, the announcement was missing very important information that even a non lawyer would interpret the likely success of this litigation has a poor outlook and even if successful, subject to appeals, collecting on any awarded damages - is hopeless. I say this because any foreign country will resist getting involved with seizing assets from a poor African Country on demand from a sub penny stock Australian public company.
