even NST hedges and they are they are Aussie gold mining royalty so I agree with you both that hedging is commonplace (at least historically), Q is how much is prudent
I do think the amount of the hedge as 40% of production is too aggressive though, perhaps a higher interest rate/costs with a lower hedge % would have been a better outcome?
