More work for pls finance department to figure out what to do with all of that money. Could be as simple as taking the money they have put aside to p1000 but that pushes out the money that was already set aside into the next opportunity, e.g. 30% posco JV but we already had money for that and on and on it goes till they have a pile of money left with no viable opportunity to spend it. And that just got bigger.
in summary the government spent 250m on our dividends that they can tax whilst earning interest at the same time. And they can look greener. Maybe cleverer then we think....
