That's just stuff people sell at conferences for people who want to waste money on buying tickets to learn "how to invest".
Price action and sentiment is king for short term. For anyone who does more mid-term or long-term trading peer comparisons are king.
People that want to make money average up, not down. Unless you're shorting the stock like I am, then averaging down is an absolute gold-standard play.
