I am straining hard - I really am - but I just can't see where FAR's management is getting it wrong.
Okay, so this announcement will be regarded by many as being peripheral, but it's just more good news and more evidence of FAR's negotiating strength. What a pity those Texan pricks weren't prepared to man up and front Cath across the table; it might have made life simpler and more prosperous all around.
Just as an aside, I think it was KKW yesterday who pointed out that those last three appraisal wells - plus 'instant connectivity' - added a monstrous three million barrels to Cairn's numbers. Seriously you jocks, if you are going to obfuscate then at least have the decency to make it semi-believable.
My guess? I reckon FAR/RISC's estimate will be 800-plus. They had already gotten to 640 before those wells.
