The Parkes to Broken Hill line (also used by some intermodal trains from/to Sydney) is flooded between Mannahill and Yunta in South Australia.

I don't know how severe but having had the unfortunate pleasure of spending time at the a rather grotty Yunta roadhouse, and travelling on the 'Indian Pacific' sometimes through there, it's one of the last places in eastern Australia one would expect to be flooded.

Sydney-Adelaide or Sydney-Perth trains can instead travel via Goulburn and Albury in NSW then Broadmeadows, the Tottenham rail flyover and Werribee in Melbourne, North Shore near Geelong and Ararat/Horsham/Bordertown to reach Adelaide, but for a train it adds significant distance.

One Sydney - Perth freight train is almost at Goobang Junction on Parkes, NSW's outskirts having travelled up from Cootamundra on the Sydney - Melbourne line, so maybe that's an indication the flooding is not too bad as if the train controllers knew about it and still let it travel north of Cootamundra, they might believe it can reasonably soon be on its way west.
