The Melbourne to Sydney line looks to have reopened early this morning as Campbelltown to Moss Vale local Endeavour railcars are running up and down. It will take a day or two, I'd imagine, for Melbourne - Brisbane intermodals that carry many LAU railable containers to resume.

LAU rails many more containers between Melbourne, and to a lesser extent Sydney or Parkes, to Perth than Melbourne - Brisbane, but both have been growing.

It's important this occurs as maybe for a while given the floods and consequent damage to fruit and vegetable growing areas, LAU's road transport business volumes may be down for a while.
