The customers signed up for the videos. Historically, most of them had accepted them and made the purchase. The few that didn't were easily replaced. That is enough to argue that the sales were properly accounted for under the old standard, and I think you will be proven wrong about the regulatory penalties, but time will tell.
You claim that hardly any customers accepted the purchase. I haven't seen any evidence of that. I think you're just making it up. Or if you have evidence to support your claim, please share it. The fact is, that many of the customers who signed up for the videos later accepted the purchase. Sales are still being made from that pipeline. What do you think BIG has been doing since coming out of administration?
