No doubt shareholders will be informed directly by company as to exact details. There has been a comment that nothing will be done until September but not sure of that timetable. We have seen a massive drop in the share price just before and since this announcement, with perhaps those in the know (forewarned) selling off high to pick up cheap.

If say a shareholder holds currently 500,000 AJQ shares how is that shareholder affected by this spin-off?

Mate "massive drops in the share price" are de rigeur for long term holders - ffs it floated at 50c. This is one for the grandchildren. Put in bottom drawer, remove from watchlist and occasionally hum Rolling Stones Spider and a Fly.
