I'm not up to date with board power/politics/CMOs/voting rights etc. But does this help prevent a voting majority (for the new candidates), if all 4 new candidates got voted in? If this is the reason for the board's timing in bringing in a new member right now, I would be very disappointed.
Can someone clarify if this would change the balance of voting power for the board?
