Yes, I messed up the numbers. However as dunover has pointed out based off pre COVID19 trajectory figures, that extra $1 million in inventory equates to $2.3m in profit. Which in effect would make the company profitable inclusive of all the expenses you mentioned.
One glance at the company financials would have provided with you the answer. I suggest you do it more before posting.
CDY were about to be profitable, and still may be with COVID-19 test sales on top.
