My understanding is the share register (member register) is public information. This can be accessed upon request by other shareholders (eg Kin Group) and other third parties (for a fee). There are some restrictions on what the information can be used for and these are clarified with the entity requesting the register before it is handed over. I found the below a good summary. I have on a couple of occasions requested (and paid the $250 fee) a share register of an ASX listed company. It can take sometime to come through (although I believe the regs stipulate 2 weeks upon bona fide request). To obtain the detail, head to the Corporations Act and the applicable sections. cheers T
