in my opinion, that's just stupid!
business is dynamic and ever changing... you should never rule out anything... especially when you don't have any funding terms locked in... so how can you possibly have any idea how much you will borrow and on what terms.
absolute statements such as 'no' and 'never' are risky business in business... and they usually get punished by needy HC shareholders and trolls when they don't prove true.
they're better off saying "we're looking at a suite of funding options with the aim of minimising dilution as much as possible".
