Mate, you're fond of citing your experience in getting mining operations up and running, which I'm happy to take at face value. My experience in the corporate world (mind you as a worker, not a capitalist) has shown me that decent people will do anything for large amounts of money, including bin their principles and sell their dreams. Many a takeover has proceeded on that basis. We are all here for profit and ultimately, so are they.
Is that what's happening here? I have no evidence, I have no firm idea and I hope not. My only observations thus far are that (a) this company, having passed the regulatory hurdles, is ripe to be snapped up, and (b) Friday's announcement seems like too much of a clumsily worded disaster to be entirely accidental.
The rest of your spiel I don't disagree with. If I did, I'd have sold already and wouldn't be typing this.
