Adelaide Resources gained the prospective Warramboo iron ore ( magnetite) deposit in 1995.
ADN chose to vend it into a new float, Iron Road around 2008.
The board/shareholders voted (Aug 2008) to distribute the new Iron Road shares to all ADN shareholders, plus ADN shareholders had priority allocations to subscribe for shares in the float as well. This happened , I believe, from 2nd Dec 2008.
The Chairman in the following years annual report said the transaction resulted in 27c distributed value for each ADN shareholder at the distribution date of Nov 2008.
