Quality will be the key I believe. For now, ZIP still lagging APT by number of customers, number of merchants, and revenue. To me, ZIP has spent more focus and acquired the expertise to develop, now AI driven, algorithms to evaluate credit worthiness of customers. This should discriminate better quality customers that pay and generate repeat business. In addition, ZIP are using the extensive database from Pocketbook to analyse holistic customer spending habits. Insights gained from Pocketbook will allow improved targeting of merchants and customers.
