The 2023 Association of Mining and Exploration Companies’ (AMEC) Awards were announced last night. The 2023 Prospector Award went to Matt Crowe, Luke Blais, Nick Chapman and Ross Chandler for the Yin Discovery in Western Australia’s Gascoyne region.

Well done guys, it’s a fantastic discovery that required geology nous and a willingness to test convention.

And hopefully more of the same in 2024 from a high-grade carbonatite discovery (or two).

Or from a gold discovery/confirmation at the Star & Friends.

Or from a Cu-Au-Co discovery/further confirmation at Orion & Friends.

Or from a further discovery/confirmation at the Nickel JV.

Or from something "new"/a lithium discovery at Mangaroon and/or Central Yilgarn!

Or maybe from all of the above - now that would be an award-winning year!

But back to discovery drilling they've gone, so see what happens!
