I have been thinking about what are the potential results of voting for or against the spill. In my opinion the only potential positive result of voting for the spill is the opportunity to vote in a new director like @ThePig who may be able to generate some transparency in current situation. At the same time creating a few waves. It doesn’t look like many here would support this idea.
They have cleverly moved JR out of the board so he can’t be voted out and the rest of the board are there for a very short time indeed. I’m willing to give them a chance to turn this around. Yes, they will start with a clean slate so any future issues with the board would take at least two years of voting to correct. If they can’t turn this around in two years there will be nothing left of this company anyway so there will be nothing to worry about anyway.
The best thing I have seen done by the board recently is putting JM on a leash and stopping him from spruiking more spin.
I will vote against the spill. Not that my vote matters much.
