See this is what I always thought was the problem and voiced it publicly that AK and his board were never independent nor accountable as they solely protected their own interests. It was AK with and t least 2 of his close mates on the board that would always hold the balance of power and make decisions. We never had a chance with investors under that set up.
I just find it really ironic that some of those same directors that were only there to protect AK are now calling for an independent board??. What they just woke up to the reality of it now!!!.
Are we supposed to trust or believe those same two directors to choose board members independently??.I think at least one of them should step aside if they really want an independent board. Trevor Matthews and Yves Occelo are not shareholders and should have followed AK out the door.
