Thanks for the link, I think I may have seen this before. In the comment by the analyst (Naheed Rahman from Flinders Investment Partners) he says:
"Flinders does hold a position in SHJ in our Emerging Companies Fund. Given the size of the class action and the several years that it has been running for, I would estimate about $20-30m is tied up in WIP and disbursements (all fully funded by SHJ, as opposed to a disbursement funder or litigation funder)."
The number as you say is from last year and so is now going to be larger. 20-30m in WIP sounds reasonable but it also sounds like a guess on his part - which might be based on rigorous analysis of similar cases, or it might be pulled out of a hat
