this is similar to what I was asking yesterday.
if it is indeed a back door listing, as implied by the listing rules mentioned in the Ann and the reference to an acquisition - it would imply that IMC is being acquired by a larger, unlisted entity. or have I misunderstood?
you're link yesterday states that in a back door listing, a private business (AssetCo) obtains a listing on the ASX by obtaining a listed company (ListCo). however it states that ListCo is usually have a very small operation compared to AssetCo.
my reading of that is that: IMC (ListCo) is being acquired by a much larger but unlisted entity?
or am I just 2 more coffees away from sanity?
