this is what I'm not quite understanding too. as I said in an earlier post, this seems like a lot from the ASX if this is a proposal by the company to acquire another company? they've only got $26-odd million to play with so it's not as if they're acquiring Pfizer and the price is about to hit $50 a share... what could it possibly be?
as others have pointed out the only thing that seems to make sense to me is that there is a material change in their core business by executing the acquisition which is apparently a thing the ASX cares about. at least that one makes a smidge of sense.
