she'll do a fine job, and dare I say, a better job than Mr Swedish could honestly & reasonably hope to do (no disrespect intended) from this time onward in guiding the Board and senior management through an increasingly hostile acquisition environment for Mesoblast Ltd.
I'm not talking about a fearful future for MSB - I'm talking about a future with success piling on success. This is going to impact fast & more heavily than many can appreciate (if its not already doing so) e.g. with plays on the corporation's stockholdings as well as the tightness of its venture deals as BigPharma jockey for power and influence over MSB's future.
Mesoblast is preparing for an increasingly bright, fast-moving and potentially hostile future IMO. This appointment is good future-proofing.
All good IMO.
