The foundation for alternative CLBP treatment has been presented and will be recognized as a safe alternative to alleviate the current opioid epidemic persisting throughout the US. The US people along with others deserve better and the FDA know with responsibility comes accountability. Although, I do believe the Board should fast track further partnerships for CLBP in order to enable the large Pharma to assist Mesoblast in attaining approval as quite frankly Mesoblast also need to understand what they are prepared to give up in order to achieve commercial success. A commercial mind set should take precedence from here on and ensure partnerships are secured.
