Its not growing revenue or earnings but is working hard enough to grow shareholder equity on average 2m every year whilst continuing to generate ROE of 12-15%. Given its trading at book value & seems steady in generating 12-15% a year which is paid out to shareholders & the rest building up shareholder equity, you would think it should trade above book value. But with a debt/equity ratio of 50% there is a risk premium attached, & why would this stock go to a PE ratio of 15 when it cant improve earnings? I believe a stock with a PE ratio of 15 should come with modest expectations of EPS growth.
I wish I had of seen this earlier as from April to October 2020 it traded flat at 70c which was a steal, but at the current price of 95c I think its fairly priced. If I bought at 70c I would hold and see if it could break past $1.20, but I couldn't buy at this price as whether it goes to 80c or $1.2 who knows, but at 70 cents there was just so much upside relative to the downside.
