Did a little more digging around regarding the concrete applications for high early strength cement. Pure speculation here, but thought I'd share my findings while joining a few dots;

Sunstate Cement is jointly owned by Adelaide Brighton Cement and Boral Cement;

Interestingly, this is the first time I have come across products that highlight their high early strength properties and easier pumpability (albeit with my limited research of course).

• ABC produce a product using Portland Cement Clinker that is available in bulk;

• Boral have a low-carbon concrete solution (as others have as well), however, they've "realised the key drawback of most low-carbon concretes was the elongation of cycle times, which basically means it takes longer to build buildings". Below is a link to Boral's Envisia concrete, with a couple of testimonials based on completed projects- one of which highlighted that the construction team could strip-out (formwork) 2 weeks ahead of program.

• In the below, the contractor actually mentions how the Envisia concrete "has a much easier pumpability and a lot easier to work with and we actually had zero blockages on this job, which is rare". All features that JM has mentioned when talking about the advantages of H-K concrete.

For me this shows that early strength gains and improved rheology are desired in the market, with the added bonus of being low-carbon (or vise-versa ).
