The reason; shorters have to buy back the shares they sold. However the one who are long & bought shares from shorter plus long term holders who's average over $1, if they hold their shares tight looking at possible future revenue plus long term FA then shorters will have to chase each other to pay premium buying back from very limited stock that would come out for sell along with new investors who might see opportunity to buy at reasonable market cap.

Hence, fear among shorters could lead such drastic increase when stock has been oversold...Not saying all shorters lose money but many who entered late could bear the damage.....

The company has lot to offer in next few months and so most trading from here will come as Long trade & not the short...
