The Australian Energy Market Operator has issued another market notice for Queensland after anticipating three electricity supply gaps that could occur across the state within the next 24 hours.
"...Between 4.30pm today and midnight tonight, 7am and 8am tomorrow and 5pm and 10.30pm tomorrow, the maximum load forecast could be interrupted resulting in blackouts...
...The Australian Energy Market Operator has now issued a market notice for Victoria as Queensland and NSW continue to face the threat of blackouts.Between 8.30pm today and 9:30 on Wednesday night, the maximum load forecast could be interrupted, resulting in possible blackouts.
AEMO said they're seeking a market response..."
Noted Federal Labor greenie Minister Chris Bowen looks like he's speaking untrujths:"...Energy Minister Chris Bowen says Australia has enough reliability in the energy market for the foreseeable future, as long as there are no further unexpected closures of coal-fired power stations.
Speaking in Sydney, Mr Bowen said blackouts and load shedding were not a “likely outcome at this point” following discussions with energy authorities.."
