One point made by JM in the latest Crux interview which may have gone largely unnoticed was his comments made around the 27:00 min mark concerning the rheology application and its effects on concrete segregation - which IMO has huge implications for the successful commercialisation of ADN's HRM product.

JM explains: "So this [HRM] holds it all together. And that allows all sorts of improvements in the mix or formulation....where you can use materials that normally cant be used. Materials that companies have, that they'd like to use, but they cant because they're inferior quality. But by using our material [HRM], you can use all sorts of other materials, lower cost..."

In essence, this suggests that the benefits of the HRM product extend beyond the final customer (ie handling/drying time/strength etc) but also to the benefit of the concrete manufacture/suppliers by introducing a mechanism for them to utilise lower-cost material inputs, such as fines or aggregates, while minimising/negating its effects on the concrete's performance.

This would potentially result in a huge commercial advantage in the net cost of the final concrete product, even with the small added value for the HRM admixture.
