I’d like to clarify here. When a shareholder logsback in to VotingOnline.com.au (having already submitted a proxy), it’s not to reviewtheir proxy/proxy directions (and potentially change them), instead it’s tosubmit a fresh proxy. There is a red warning on page 1 when logged in thatwarns shareholders that ‘if you proceed this online proxy vote will replaceyour previously entered proxy vote.’ This is why the settings are returned toOPEN. This is the default setting for all meetings and not unique to IBX.

Essentially, once you’ve submitted, as with a paperproxy form, the proxy is lodged. To adjust that proxy, you need to start over –you don’t amend the previously lodged proxy. This replicates the process ofsubmitting a fresh paper proxy form.
