By my calculations his remuneration was over US$2.4m and his current shares and options would net him over US$90m at a 10x current share price. If we include the proposed options he would come out with UD$180m. Numbers are after ocosts and before tax, which would probably be half based on US tax.
I would be skipping down the road if he were able to achieve that outcome.
The outgoing Edwards CEO sold another US$24m worth of shares in his final year, he averaged around this amount in share sales each year for over the last 10 years. My point here is that leaders in this space make big money.
