Maybe holders and market have agreed that 7.5c - 8c is the sp level reflecting the disappointing sales numbers as there is still income received from existing contracts. With the looming tax selling in June there is a good chance that the new FY will see a sp increase back to 10c in anticipation of the July 4C. Even if the sales numbers come in low all adds up to increase the underlying income, assuming they keep the costs under control.
Buy when the market sells, that is the motto for the next 6-8 weeks. Selling by today's buyers can be done when the market, hopefully based on better figures, jumps on IPD by end of '24 / early '25.
The time from planting to the harvest often takes 12 months, now is time for planting the seed.
Will be interesting to see if someone will dump 4-5m shares into 7.9 / 7.8c or if that buying interest will drive the sp back mid 8c. I am prepared to take advantage of both scenarios as the impossible is always possible and the unthinkable is always done by at least one ASX participant.
