No one would be foolish enough to assume Apple aren't going to get most out of existing chipset , allow more features and keep going down in price point whilst developing the next generation as they see which competitors features the public likes and what they can market to different age groups.
Apple may even change and using monthly subscriptions for particular features to be turned on or different levels of new features as they can have architecture locked down physically in devices and also in app store to protect market. Apple are wanting to be a health innovator and have struggled IMO. Will they head down formal hearing health pathway - what format would they use as they know it is a massive margin market and would they use own stores ? Offer all the features , extra microphones, onboard processing at no premium or subscription and ...........existing providers would find it hard going IMO and would be a race to bottom price wise ..

If the volumes in this sector pick up at some point and margins stay high a massive brandname with pricing power could do some damage at scale to existing providers and market.

Apple are a interesting beast as they don't do all their stuff at CES at all as they can generate publicity at will

I did try to point out the features in the iPhone iOS the other day

nuh have to remember that it’s current gen is simply and ear bud that got approved

Apple have essentially all the same features in their current buds but no approval for otc yet

Apple pro oroce is already considerably lower than nuh and more people are discovering the hearing features with apple that you see on many other otc buds- app- tests- changes to hearing settings etc

nuh will need to pivot to something else

and with gen 4 not even released, not even otc approved and current sales so poor - nuh doesn’t have a chance no matter how many pos it claims to have with apple out there at way below current nuh prices as well as other similar products otc approved which are selling at lower than 499
