PharmaNet Group Ltd (ASX PNO) reports its pharmaceutical subsidiary
Molecular Pharmacology Ltd (MPL) has successfully synthesized a group of
candidate compounds that are believed to contain the Tripeptofen
molecule.
This achievement is a result of the efforts of MPL's scientific
team, working on the isolation and identification of the molecular
structures and biological processes responsible for Tripeptofen's
analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties.
MPL believes Tripeptofen to be a new type of pharmacological
agent that works in quite a distinct way from the anti-inflammatory
drugs involved in recent safety concerns and product withdrawals.
