management & the co's broker would know true value of the company & its future cashflow requirements better than anyone else; therefore anytime they're buying on-market it's because SP is undervalued, & they're convinced a good ROI will be achieved for SH.
based on recent CR, sophs & instos saw value at 14¢; therefore buying in this lull @ 7¢ could literally return 100% in the future:
seems low risk investment from their position to have this buyback option, as they have all the information Infront of them, & cash in bank would only earn around 1%
win-win imo. & this isn't a move to stabilise SP, i think it's all about providing SH with ROI
