Set and remember is a better policy. Recently I put a stop loss on, not one but two, purchases of NYR during its monster run. The price dropped to the stop loss later that day before continuing to rocket up. I then bought more with my profit but put another stop loss on, which also got triggered. I made profit so I guess that is the key..
