You mean Canadian investors not only get to deduct 100% of what they paid for the overpriced shares, but then they get a 30% tax credit on top of that?
The combined federal and provincial tax rate for Saskatchewan is as high a 47.5%. So those sophisticated investors (if they're rich, they're sophisticated, right?) only paid 22.5% x 5.1 CA cents = 11.5 cents per share (or 1.3 cents AU, which is back to where it was a month or so ago).
