I gave up on SPL as an investment a long time ago, but I still keep an eye on it for an occasional swing trade.

I have become even more cynical about SPL recently, due to SP moves that to my very experienced trading eyes look to have preceded important news being published. Could be just coincidence (that's what they all say), but if there is insider trading then swing-trading this stock becomes too risky because swings could be insider-driven precursors of more to come instead of being normal market swings that create potential trading opportunities.

If there is insider trading going on then it could be originating from SPL's partners and not from within SPL. The more partners - the more opportunities for SPL maybe, but more risks for traders.
