A lot of us on this forum have been around since the pre-PCD days and have a long term outlook for LCK. This is just another derisking milestone for me.
Am I disappointed we're not 50c+? Absolutely. Does it change how/when I'll trade this stock? Absolutely not. Just keep accumulating at these levels and sell in 2023 for 5-10 times the current SP.
If it's one thing I've learned from my relatively short amount of time investing, particularly with mining, is it takes a lot longer than anticipated to send the SP rocketing.
The difference between the announcement of the PPL and the success of the PCD, is that the the SP had taken a significant hit during the operation of the PCD - We'd dropped from 20c to 8.9c. This time we've rallied from 10c to 18c prior to the announcement. Also, I've noticed this year there's been a lot more "buy the hype, sell the news" than previous years. BUT! When people sell the news, it provide a good opportunity to buy, as often the SP rallies a few days later.
Chill out and enjoy the ride - the outlook is good from here.
