I don't think it would be too hard to recruit patients by opening up more locations.

I take my father to see a haematologist oncologist at a specialist hospital clinic every 2 months for myelofibrosis (which isn't covered in the AZD0466 trial). The clinic is always busy and it is difficult to get appointments. His blood cancer is showing changes towards AML. Nothing can be done.

Patients at this stage are often not eligible for stem cell transplant due to risks due to their age etc. Even then it may not work. Nothing can really be done.

I think there would be plenty of people who would join a trial if it might help their condition when nothing else will.
