RLG raises a valid point. What happened to the other 14 (n=14) patients whose albuminuria levels were < 57mg/mmol? 30mg/mmol is a recognised threshold for treatment of CKD/DKD. 30mg/mmol was the inclusion criteria for the trial compared to 100mg/mmol for previous trials. What happened to these 14 patients when they were given DMX200?
We know that for 26(n=26) patients with albuminuria > 57mg/mmol they had a 18% reduction which was clinically and statistically significant.
