3. Looking for a long term supply deal - not just Stage 1 output.

With high grade capability, AGY can supply battery quality product DIRECT TO CUSTOMER to meet the needs for Automakers engineering the new class of high performance batteries. This is where the Auto market is heading. Greater range, faster charging. Must have very low impurities.

This is an automaker (or battery maker) making plans to supply vehicles to their traditional Western markets, where range anxiety is a big issue.

For an automaker to make plans for a future production run of a new model(s), they need to ensure reliable supply years before they start manufacturing. They will be looking to lock in supply partners who can deliver product in increasing volume, increasing purity and with stability well into the future.

Preferred partner means...
1. Good to deal with (integrity)
2. A long term partnership (win-win)
3. Good company building customer for AGY

You get that from the Japanese not the Chinese.

In this announcement, AGY have pretty much told us that an OT deal is a happening thing.

Lastly, the really good thing about very high grade Lithium; it's the Unicorn of the market - hard to get, worth paying the money for, and costs the most.

What is about to come next will knock our socks off.
