Matthew Broome coming on board is interesting. Perusing his papers, it's about building quantum hardware that can deliver solutions that classical computing can't. Going after this aim means they might not just be happy with polynomial speedups relative to classical, but the goal is exponential speedups. IMHO, AXE is showing a lot of drive and ambition on several fronts ( A1 chip included) . The SP seems quite disconnected from the value of the tech breakthroughs and intellectual property. But the market is not something I can argue with, so will let it do its thing. Deep tech isn't the easiest to own, but I believe will reward.
