I must say, still not a good look that "no proper thought" went into the announcement and they just "assumed" it was going to be fine because everyone approved them before..
Doesn't set the scene for very successful, thought out announcements (possible acquisitions) if that's the kind of effort they put in. That's if you buy into his response, it could just be that they tried a sly one on us all. I hope that isn't the case though.
